Powerful Performance

• We’ve given the engine huge power in our entire Pioneer 1000 lineup, especially in the midrange and top end. And thanks to the lower gear ratios, you’ll feel quick acceleration and stellar overall performance. Using the same Unicam® cylinder head design found in our motocross bikes, the class-leading 999 cc liquid-cooled inline twin is compact, while delivering the kind of horsepower and torque you’d expect from a flagship model.

Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT)

• Drive the way you want, with the industry’s first and only six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. Choose between manual mode or fully automatic. Plus, the addition of Sport Mode increases the fun, shifting at higher RPM for a spirited, full-performance driving experience.

Advanced Transmission Logic

• Advanced Transmission Logic is the brain of the DCT — it senses how you drive and adapts accordingly. Relaxed drivers get earlier shifts for a quieter ride at lower engine speeds. With sportier drivers, it will hold each gear longer for higher RPM shifts. And when going downhill, you get true engine braking. Now that’s a smart transmission.

Paddle Shifting

• Steering column-mounted paddle shifters add a serious dose of performance in every drive. In Manual mode, they let you shift without ever taking your hands off the wheel, and in Automatic mode, they let you override the current gear with a quick up or downshift, holding that gear for several seconds before returning to Automatic mode.

Tackle any Terrain

Electric Power Steering

• Every Pioneer 1000 features an EPS system with a brushless motor integrated with the ECU. The return-to-centre function makes it intuitive on straight trails, and the whole system feels responsive and linear.

Independent Suspension

• Dual A-arm suspension gives you 268 mm (10.6 in.) of travel in the front, and 254 mm (10 in.) of travel in the rear. Pair that with stellar ground clearance, and you maximize available traction and comfort while manoeuvring over terrain other side-by-sides would shy away from.

The hard roof, compatible with all Honda Signature Accessory components, ensures robust protection against the elements. For an immersive audio experience, the SSV Works Audio System comes equipped with a powerful 50-watt x 4-channel amplifier, two front speaker and two rear speakers, delivering high-quality sound on every adventure. Additionally, the 2-piece poly windscreen features a pivoting design with a larger opening, offering superior airflow and adaptability to changing conditions.

QuickFlipTM Seats

• Experience ultimate flexibility in seating options. In addition to the comfortable three passenger contoured bench seat up front, the bed incorporates a pair of QuickFlip® seats that flip up or fold down independently in seconds. Up, they provide secure seating for one or two additional passengers; down, you get a flat cargo bed for utility use.

Secure Design

• The Occupant Protection Structure uses large-diameter tubing and includes integrated handholds, recessed top tubes and a more spacious structure to enhance protection. Hard doors and roll-up side nets provide a secure feel and keep mud and debris out of the cabin, while automotive-style three-point belts with an Emergency Locking Retractor mechanism help keep everyone secure.

LCD Instrument Display

• The instrument display is easy to read, with big and bright graphics. The display includes a clutch indicator and a battery-voltage readout too, in addition to speed, fuel level, RPM, transmission mode, water temperature, trip information and more.

Prewired for Accessories

• We’ve pre-wired all Pioneer 1000-5 models for accessory switches, so you don’t have to run a lot of extra wiring. For things like a winch alone, it slashes installation time as well as making the installation easier and cleaner. We’ve even included an extra, integrated grounding terminal.

Accessory Switch Panel

• Standard equipment on the Pioneer 1000, the switch panel has room for seven switches, letting you control things like a winch, accessory lights, and more. A fully integrated design, it sits in the centre of the dashboard, underneath the other switches and controls.
